The ACLU is calling for a federal investigation into the death of Massachusetts State Police recruit Enrique Delgado-Garcia, who died after suffering a “medical crisis” during a boxing

Enrique Delgado-Garcia allegedly described hazing-like conditions at the State Police Academy, his friend told The Boston Globe.

Michael Moore, Robyn Kennedy, and Peter Durant -- pointed to media reports describing hazing and harassment in the academy and called for a “comprehensive and independent investigation."

A Massachusetts State Police recruit is in the hospital after suffering a medical emergency during a training exercise, the department confirmed.

A week after the death of a state police recruit injured while training at the academy, the ACLU of Massachusetts is calling for a federal investigation. Enrique Delgado-Garcia, 25, was badly injured last Thursday at the Massachusetts State Police Academy in New Braintree.
