KOLKATA: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday questioned Dr Birupaksha Biswas and Dr Abhik De, who are closely associated with Dr Sandip Ghosh, the former football principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.

R G Kar Medical College's former principal Sandip Ghosh was found to be "deceptive" while answering important questions on the rape and murder of a trainee woman postgraduate doctor during his polygraph test and layered voice analysis,

CBI has alleged that Sandip Ghosh got information about the rape and murder of the trainee doctor at 9.58 a.m. on August 9 but he did not make the police complaint immediately.

The CBI officials questioned Dr Birupaksha Biswas, part of the so-called North Bengal lobby, on Saturday at its Salt Lake office.
