Miami University brings its football team to Notre Dame for the third time in program history on Saturday as the Fighting Irish and RedHawks will do battle. The first trip Miami took to Notre Dame was back before Knute Rockne ever even played a down for the blue and gold.

Notre Dame (2-1) will look to earn its first home win of the season on Saturday when the 17th-ranked Fighting Irish host Miami (Ohio). Notre Dame will look to build on its impressive rout of Purdue and built its first win streak of the season. It's important game for the Irish to build some momentum before the toughness of the schedule ramps up.

This is the second meeting between Miami (Ohio) and Notre Dame in program history, with Notre Dame winning their 2017 matchup 52-17. A win would be the RedHawk’s first road win against a ranked opponent since 2003, when a Ben Roethlisberger -led squad defeated #20 Bowling Green for the 2003 MAC Championship.
